Clay Hill Hunting is located on the Watson Farm in Clay County, Georgia, on a clay hill nine miles north of Fort Gaines. With its small fields, pine woods, creek, and oak bottoms, this area has always been a prime location for wildlife. Hunting and fishing are a tradition here. We always have an abundant supply of wildlife. We plant numerous fields with wildlife in mind. As well as food plots to attract deer and turkey, we also plant spring crops such as Lab Lab, soybeans, and cow peas to ensure a healthy herd of wildlife. We have a reputation for having the most deer and for the biggest deer in this area. Need a change of pace? Our pond is stocked with catfish that make for some mighty fine eating! WARNING: Be sure to have your drag set and some good strong line on your reel. We’d hate to hear that the “big one” got away! We welcome non-hunters and families as well. If you desire some relaxing time in the country to commune with nature, do a little fishing, or just want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, there’s no place better on earth!
